What’s smackdown

 

Smack down is on the level of 205 live - both shows are incredibly inessential

 

Said it a million times but I’ve watched Smackdown like twice since it’s moved to Friday’s. I just don’t associate Friday’s with wrestling. Doesn’t matter what brand or company, I most likely wouldn’t watch. I don’t know why Fox would pay all that money for the rights to air it and then put it in such a terrible time slot

SD drew its lowest rating ever on Fox. I'm sure Fox is regretting the amount of money they gave WWE. I know Fridays suck for TV, but with how relevant WWE is now days I don't think you waste a prime night like Wed or Thursday on them. Especially with how terrible SD has been since moving to fox.

Fox wasn't doing 2m weekly on Fridays and sometimes even under a million. Considering anything thats not news is down, I'm sure they're happy with Smackdown's numbers. It's also July 4th weekend, ratings were going to drop

Dickinson is a goddamn beast.

 

Also, their rerun of Masterchef drew about the same rating on Thursday night...with what SD has been drawing, they'd be getting KILLED by most other networks when they run original programming (ABC drew nearly 2x the viewers for Game On than SD did)

Wish they would had signed BPJ over Spears

 

Would be cool if they were able to have other MLW talent appear on occasion. Would love to see Tom Lawlor, Jacob Fatu, the Von Erichs, etc.

 

The only MLW talent they need to have come in is La Parka and show Spears who the true goddamn Chairman is

 

Congrats to them!

 

There is a not a single storyline on Raw or SD that I am interested in right now.
