  1. What’s the point of that swap for Barca?

I legitimately don't see how we benefit in any way with that swap. Quite a baffling little decision all around.

FFP. Experienced midfielder. But just FFP because they’re a horribly managed club with a lot of uncontrolled debt.

I'm kinda surprised the story doesn't seem to have gotten more traction. I haven't seen it in the news or on any news apps yet. It's pretty major given the evidence she provides and it deserves to be taken seriously.

As an aside, I always forget how toxic people can be on the internet. I hear people complain about online abuse and sometimes I find myself thinking surely it can't be that bad. Then you see a thread like that or the replies to a Trump tweet or something, just the absolute dregs of society, hurling abuse at people, really dark personal stump, threats too. I can't believe I share the streets with these people. There's a few going round at the minute of far right activists (extremists) using random pictures of foreign or Muslim people on meme like pictures, making stories up about this is a Antifa organiser or something, then the scum find the real person on social media and begin ruining their life. Stalking them, sending real physical threats to their address. Social media is fucked.

Moyes literally looks like he's made of leather now. He's like Troy McClure in that Muppets movie in The Simpsons.

  7. Doesn’t matter what happens in this game. I’m happy.

  8. I’m sure this will come back to haunt me, but this Sanchez-Dier partnership is starting to look pretty good.

I think pretty much all football behind closed doors has sucked.

where would i be if i was my brain Prestigious

I've only watched the two Man City matches and the Merseyside Derby. The City games were amazing. sooooo

I was trying to describe myself to someone

Possibly wanting to confirm a few things before they wade in. I've noticed it with a few things which break on Twitter first that there seems to be a bit of a lag from the mainstream media. There's was something recently where the Daily Mail and maybe The Sun embarrassed themselves with something and very quickly changed their write ups of the story. I can't remember what it was now.

The comments are pretty horrendous though. The number of morons "debunking" it is remarkable. My two favourites being the party one and the Muslim excuse. I'd be surprised if a statement doesn't come out from Keita or Liverpool though.

I'm going to be interested to see if he plays the next game or whether he's given it off due to off field circumstances or something. Can't imagine the club want it rearing it's head the week they win the league.

  19. Seeing fans complaining. Got a point against United and 3 points in a derby. That seems ok to me.

  20. JM95

    hmmm

Yeah four points out of six for any team is a good outcome after such a long break.

  21. Sheffield United and ManU draw tomorrow and then Spurs over Sheffield next week would be grand.

  22. Dier was making some really nice passes from the back. I hope he signs a new deal.

I wouldn't want Dier at my football club, mainly because he's shit and really doesn't do anything except trudge around making meaningless sideways and backwards passes.

Just saw this. Can't see England playing 4-4-2 under Southgate and if they did, a Henderson and Alli midfield would get steamrolled by quality opposition.

England's biggest issue is CB and CM. They don't have two trusty, dependable centre backs or a central midfielder who can control the game. For all of Henderson's intangibles and defensive excellence, he's not someone I think is capable of running the show against world class opposition. Klopp does an excellent job of minimizing his weaknesses for Liverpool and as such, he doesn't have to do a lot of the heavy lifting with the ball in terms of creativity. Plus, Liverpool play on the counter primarily, so the need to control the middle of the park is not as vital in their current guise.

  25. If you’re wanting to have two CM starting, I’d say Rice and Winks would be your best combo. They are solid but not exactly the most creative players. Having a formidable attacking four in front of them would make them look better though.
