I love the fact footballs been back for 4 days and Arsenal have already managed to lose twice. Never change Arsenal lol

  2. Just noticed Martino is wearing an ear ring. Interesting wardrobe decision.

Great win for Blackburn today, puts us 1 point off the playoffs now with better goal difference than all the teams around us. I still doubt we’ll grab that spot come end of the season but it’s great having that hope back.

  4. Guendouzi acting very professional after the game

  6. I don’t know why it always posts multiple tweets lol I just wanted the quote from Maupay

  7. What’s more exciting, Spurs and Arsenal battling for a CL spot or Spurs and Arsenal trying to out-shit each other every game?

if you’re quoting a tweet in a thread, it’ll always grab the one before it, too.

Arsenal’s defending for those two goals... wooooow.

Surely Guendouzi gets a ban, right? Should have been a red.

:crylaugh: wtf was Ceballos trying to do when he nutmegged Lacazette on the ground

  11. While this is hilarious, I’d rather hear this from Jose than him blaming the refs every game.

The truth is, we need a new centre back and at least one central midfielder.

Ceballos, Guendouzi, Lacazette and Pepe were all awful enough today. Aubameyang also wasn't very good today.

Arteta's use of subs is very bad. Why didn't we bring on Martinelli or Ozil? We needed a goal and he brings on Joe Willock...

Honestly, with Pepe I haven’t seen enough of him to say one way or the other this season. But I can’t stop scratching my head at that purchase. It was quite obvious what Arsenal needed, and they avoided that to sign him. I guess I’d get it if he was an unmissable talent, but he hasn’t shown that yet outside of a few nice goals.

Was really hoping Bournemouth would find some form over the next few weeks and ultimately send West Ham down to the championship (lol), but I think they might be done for. Sad as they have done so well the past few years, but even Villa might finish above them at this rate.

  16. I watched the Chilwell goal again....was he trying to cross it? I don’t believe he was actually attempting a shot lol

  17. Nick

    @fangclubb Prestigious

Nah that was 100% a shot. You don’t cross a ball like that.

I was trying to describe myself to someone

Good grief, what is on Andy Carroll's face...

Also, after missing a total sitter, Joelinton gor a nice one there. This has gone a lot better than expected.

I hope Everton actually turn up tonight. Sick of them just rolling over in derbys.

  20. I think NBC forgot to pipe in the crowd noise

  21. Nvm it's just really quiet

Interested to hear if other people have found that the crowd noise has been worse/ more jarring and out of sync with the Premier League compared to all other leagues so far.

Watching a couple of South Korean games, a load of Bundesliga (which I've found to be best), and a few La Liga games, the Premier League's audio always sounds like a FIFA game, with that brief but noticeable delay, or giving a shot ballooning into row Z the same reaction as a shot against the post. I don't know if it's whoever that's in charge of it with the league's, a broadcaster decision or just difference in styles, but it's really noticeable for me.

And yes, I did just write that many words about crowd noise. Sorry.

The Brighton - Arsenal game had awful crowd noise. It didn't seem to sync up properly, at points it was kind of badly mixed, and it's weird when players are kicking off and NOTHING changes in the crowd noise. Plus, an injured player being clapped off by non-existant fans is proper dystopian stuff.

  24. Some of the games have synced up better than others. I like it better with the noise than without.

I agree, marginally. The most annoying thing about both options is how constantly aware of it you are, as opposed to normal games with natural noise that just fade into the background with the flow of the game. Just constantly hearing it is annoying.
