No hyperbole, White Pony shifted my taste in music forever. The only stuff I listened to before that was Creed, Default, Audioslave and whatever else was on the radio at the time.

 

To be fare, Shadow mixing it in 2020 would be different than 2000 Shadow mixing it. His newer albums are good, but nothing compares to his early albums(Endtroducing... Preemptive Strike, Private Press). Hope he has more hands in it than just a track.

 

100% in on a reissue and remix album. Love it.

Somehow still don’t own this album on vinyl yet so this should be nice. Also new record tentatively scheduled for release in November. Hell yeah.

Thought it might’ve been posted in here already after seeing posts about Black Stallion.

An Eros EP would be really cool to hear.

 

it would be kinda sad to have an “incomplete” Eros but also I’ve been waiting to hear those songs for so long that I will take anything

 

I guess it’s “incomplete” but it’s released in a way that they feel it should be heard. Instead of leaked songs and demos.

Twenty years of the absolute masterpiece that is White Pony. A classic album of its own and any other era.

I used to have that red tee when I was in high school. Might have to pick it up.

 

To me, unquestionably their best record. I may have started with Diamond Eyes but going from there to White Pony was an experience I'll never forget. Happy 20th anniversary.
