Yeah I mean I'm sure an Apple keyboard would be the most seamless route, but I'm also someone who doesn't care very much about keyboards as long as it does the job lol. Not sure if others in this thread have any specific recommendations

 

Yeah def. I was looking at this one for $40 on Amazon. Good reviews, Apple keys, trying to Justify spending an extra $80 or so to get the Apple keyboard vs. this one.

Damn MacStories gets me again with an app recommendation. Definitely going to try this as an Instapaper replacement.

 

I don’t know what the feature is called on the iPad , but where you watch Netflix and then say go on safari and it shows the video in a smaller box. It is so annoying how many apps do not do this: YouTube, Amazon Prime, NowTv... etc.

Secondary rant, YouTube must have offered me a free trial in excess of 100 times. You would think they would get the hint.

I did the thing and got AirPods Pro. They’re such an upgrade from the Gen 1 AirPods I had.

 

Amazon had them down at £214 briefly yesterday, couldn’t resist.

 

I think my series 2 watch is singing it’s swan song. Battery doesn’t last a full day on the lowest brightness setting and now it won’t even ping my phone.

Hoping i can last until the 6 this fall

So after being an Android user for 10+ years I decided to get an iPhone 11 Pro Max and I'm very happy with it

So am I part of the cool kids club now or

 

I've been an Android guy since the Droid Incredible in 2010 and I'm still considering taking the plunge, too. It's just so hard because there are unique things I love and hate about both of them! It's nice hearing other Android fans enjoying the transition, makes me more open to it

 

For what it's worth, the jump from Android to iOS (and vice versa) is not as big as it used to be. My previous phone was a Galaxy Note 8 and I'm not having any major trouble navigating the iPhone.

 

As I upgraded my office set up due to covid, I did a lot of keyboard research. I ended up going with the Apple one, but only because these ones were out of stock without an end in sight. No complaints and I like how I didn’t need to worry about potential third party problems, but I would have liked the backlighting.

thanks for sharing. I ended up going with the Apple one for the exact reason you stated. Figured why chance running into issues with a third party when I could just get the real deal. Glad I did!

 

I just updated my work iPhone 7 to iOS 13.5.1 and it seems to have disabled my physical home button. Any ideas why or how to fix that?

I've got first generation airpods. The past month or so almost every time I put them into my ears, the left earbud doesn't come on. I have to put them back in the case and then try again, sometimes up to 3 times in a row. A little frustrating considering I've only had them for 6 months and keep them in good condition. Tried the reset and that didnt fix the issue.

Does this happen to anyone else? Anyone know of a fix?

Whoa, that is really cool!

This used to happen to me from time to time with my original AirPods. I don't know of a fix aside from just putting them back in the case and trying again.

 

I wonder how likely a new watch will be released on Monday or if they'll wait til September. Just considering if I can wait til September though.

 

WWDC is always about the software side, less about the hardware.

Expect watches and phones in September (or maybe later? There were some rumbles that COVID pushed back their standard release window(s))

 

Maybe I'm a big dork, but I ordered this in a heartbeat.
