Since the intersection between this stuff & the pandemic has already come up a few times...

Reminder that, when you talk about wishing for stricter lockdowns enforced by police or military or whatever, this is what you’re unknowingly wishing for.

Not saying this to put down anyone’s justified anxiety they’ve had over the pandemic. But, like, that kinda suggestion happened here multiple times w/ multiple people seemingly in agreement. And, I think it’s really important in times like this to stop & think about how the kinda mindset that leads to this police bullshit... might be ingrained in a lot of our minds, too.
