I see Inter Arma. I spend way too much on vinyl pre-orders.

This week I decided to start just going through bands discographies and ranking their albums. Listened to all 16 Maiden albums and this was my ranking/favorite song from each album.

Seventh Son of a Seventh Son- Moonchild
    Powerslave- Powerslave
Somewhere In Time- Heaven Can Wait
    Piece of Mind- Revelations
    Brave New World- The Nomad
Number of the Beast- 22 Acacia Ave
The Book of Souls- The Book of Souls
    Iron Maiden- Running Free
Matter of Life and Death- The Pilgrim
Fear of the Dark- Afraid to Shoot Strangers
X Factor- Blood on the Worlds Hands
Killers- Murders in the Rue Morgue
    Dance of Death- Paschendale
The Final Frontier- Man Who Would Be King
No Prayer for the Dying- Fates Warning
    Virtual XI- The Clansman

Maybe this isn't quite the right place to ask - but can I get any recommendations if I really enjoyed the last Devil Wears Prada album?

Slaughter to Prevail are fucking gnarly and I own a black version of the vocalist's mask that I cherish greatly.

One of my best friends just brought out his second album. He does everything vocals, guitars drums etc.

Hopefully some you check it out!

Three tracks for the day. Black/Death time!

Ævangelist - Enthrall to the Void of Bliss - Cloister of the Temple of Death (Freeform weirdo murk turns into a psychedelic black/death soundscape. This album can make a harp sound evil.)

Black Curse - Endless Wound - Finality I Behold (Blood Incantation, Primitive Man, Spectral Voice, and Khemmis supergroup writing incredible Teitanblood worship.)

Antediluvian - Through the Cervix of Hawaah - Scions of Ha Nachash (Spectre of the Burning Valley) (A war metal take on bands like Portal, forward thinking primitivism. Oxymoronic is it not? Yet somehow to works brilliantly.)

I wish this was as massive of a deal in everyone’s lives as it is mine.

Song absolutely slays. Hype was worth it.

Nice to see some love for Afraid to Shoot Strangers, one of my favorite Maiden songs. Granted my "favorite Maiden songs" list is a long one and it'd be somewhere near the bottom but it's on there just the same haha. The intro portion is kinda ok but the octave riff part is gnarly as hell and ties the whole track together.
