I don't understand comments like this. The editing was bad, the plot was bad, and the dialogue was bad but the movie was still good?

  2. Never said it's a good movie. I said it's a fine movie and that I enjoyed it. It's got a lot of flaws but I liked enough of it that I walked away happy.

No. I watch Jeremy Jahns on a regular basis and have done so for over two years now and more often than not he's reasonable. He's the only reviewer besides Chris Stuckmann i can stand to watch.

Dang those reviews are a complete 180 from the majority comments. I still haven't seen it so I can't comment.

She had the worst lines in the entire film. I cringed every time she opened her mouth.

I'm trying to think of a part I didn't cringe at.

  7. For me, Rick Flag had the worst dialog. His scene in the helicopter talking to Deadshot was just ridiculously cheesy and unrealistic. Harley's a walking punchline but Flag was working with next to nothing.

If it's the lines themselves you have an issue with, then the writing is more to blame for any cringiness than Robbie.

She was peppy, overly happy, and not another brooding character, she was also the major comic relief. Simply stated, she was a shiny object meant to distract.

I like Chris Stuckmann for the most part, but I don't think his opinions on most comic book movies are of any value to me. For instance, dude gave a perfect score to Deadpool of all films. I mean I enjoyed that movie, but it's not THAT great.

Saw this afternoon, give it a 7/10. Needed more Harley and Joker, and a better villain. Also, felt a little bit rushed as well.

I like Chris Stuckmann, but I agree he's not so great with comic book movies. He thinks Tobey Maguire is a great Peter Parker/Spider-man and better than Andrew Garfield lol

  13. Spoiler about that one cameo in the beginning: I'm just really not sold on Ezra Miller as Flash. Didn't love him in the Justice League teaser, and seeing that one line here didn't do it for me either. I'm hoping he's great in JL but I just don't see him as the character at all. He's just Ezra Miller to me.

Yeah, his Retro Reviews (or whatever he calls them) for all the Spider-Man movies were pretty... bleh.

Stuckmann lost a bit of my respect when he basically said in a roundabout way that critics weren't being honest by calling "Ghostbusters" a good movie. It's like, dude, you put "The Force Awakens" as the best movie of 2015.

Youtube movie critics are often GIANT personality and flair first and movie discussion second. My favorite is What The Flick because it's seasoned critics having a discussion.

Yeah they had a damn good marketing campaign. I expect the 2nd weekend drop will be significant.

This movie is 2 hours of strung together music videos of C list DC villains doing a Destiny raid.

It is what makes them so grating. More often than not, they do not know enough about film to make interesting points and are too young.

What the Flick is significantly better, but overall YouTube has not been properly utilized for criticism in the ways it could.

Sucks about Flag tho, I really like Joel Kinneman after House of Cards and The Killing.

My theater was about half full (10 pm showing). I don't think there was a single laugh out loud moment, and there were many jokes that resulted in complete silence. The movie just didn't work on really ANY level at all.

The one moment where people actually laughed was the wifi joke in the Doctor strange preview.

we've seen the shadow of the axe before Supporter

Thought the first half was very good. I actually thought the Leto playing an extremely convincing Joker.

The second half just kind of falls flat.

Wasn't a big fan of the villaim they chose though. Enchantress was fine until she got her heart back. Then she started doing all that swirling and just looked kind of funny. Her brother looked more like a robotic samurai - like what was in The Wolverine.

I was even fine with Harley Quinn's portrayal. Felt they tried to force too many one liners in for her character.

    Slipknkot was just about useless.

Loved the scene with Common in the night club with the Joker.

Ike Barinhoktz, the main security guard, was great. He's been funny in what few movies I've seen him in.

I'm curious if we will get some kind of extended/unrated cut like we did with BvS. It seemed like there were quite a few scenes from trailers and TV Spots that didn't make the theatrical cut. Also I wonder what they went back and reshot.

Wish there could have been a few more scenes with Batman.

Deadshot was probably my favorite. Love everything about his character, including his mask and armor.

That bar scene couoskt have happened at a worse time. Took any momentum they had just built up all out.

I'm glad they kept Jai Courtney's lines to a minimum.

Somehow I didn't realize until halfway through the movie that Jay Hernandez plays Diablo.

"How does she know about these top secret facilities! They're secret!" It was cool to see David Harbour in the movie though.

Anyone else get really confused by the plot in the sense of their "mission"? The more I dwell on the movie after seeing it, the worse it becomes and I didn't think the movie was bad.
