yeah i complained about the cody shkt exclusively but both shows were great last night

NXT is stacked but im real curious with their decision to keep Dream in the title match.

 

I was thinking it was strange we hadn’t heard anything else about that situation

 

The case was taken to the authorities, and most involved got off Twitter

 

With Dream not on screen last night I'm hopeful someone else shows up in his spot next week. Who knows though

 

i'm pretty convinced dream still wins the title next week

Yeah I think I agree that I'm not super stoked at cody vs archer for the title. While I'm okay with archer being the champion I would have much more preferred to see Darby in the finals at least. Let him get that big win over cody but have him come short to archer.

Then after you let Jake continue his rants about how cody is avoiding him.

Archer doesn't need the belt. And I reallllllly wanted to keep this belt as a true mid-card heater belt but I get it. Instant super credibility. Plus i dont think archer has a long shelf life so pushing him fast now makes sense.

And so I guess the Dustin retirement angle was just for his match with kip? Which is hilarious cause it makes it sound like "if I cant beat kip sabean I might as well fucking kill myself"

okay just watched all of raw/sd since mania (with a lot lot lot lot lot of fast forwarding) and wow was that a chore.

Pros:
- Asuka
- Strowman/Wyatt is the right feud...should've been the feud for mania.
- Mandy Rose/Sonya stuff is perfectly acceptable.

Cons:
- Everything else
- Stale, stale, stale, stale, stale, stale,stale, stale
- Belair and Forgotten Sons call-ups worthless now that NxT is on USA and that people jump from brand to brand so often that it just means nothing. Plus forgotten sons...no chance in hell.
- Zelina Vega stable is fine but it can't carry raw...it's not a mid-card stable.
- Poor McIntyre. He can't succeed in this environment.
- Tamina going over Sasha.
- Becky off tv because they have nothing for her because she should've lost the title, re-igniting the top character she should be. She's Stone Cold if Stone Cold never lost.
- That Triple h/HBK/Vince shit
- Doing nothing unique, creative.
- Picking Liv Morgan to push instead of ruby Riot
- 3 hours of raw is torture. no way else to describe it
- Brand split is making this so much harder than it has to be. Every single division on every brand (maybe aside from NxT) is watered down. Tamina getting title shots? The same smackdown tag teams going after the titles over and over over and over again.
- The MITB people....awful.

I can keep going but that was absolutely brutal.

Oh charlotte being on raw and nxt is ridiculous

 

Outside of it being almost all faces for the men’s MitB, I think it’s pretty cool that it’s some new faces at least. Wish Apollo could’ve stayed in, I almost feel like they called an audible there because they just now realized it’s all faces. But who cares? It’s for a title opportunity, not like a survivor series team or the blow off of a blood feud.

And I think McIntyre is doing a great job for the position he’s in. Sucks that he doesn’t have a crowd to pop for him. I almost think when crowds do return he won’t get that huge pop because he didn’t get a chance to get the initial one. But I love his presence and confidence. And I like how he talks directly into the camera a lot and just seems like a normal dude in a sense. Like we are all in it together.

I think the Zelina stable could carry raw if they let them pick up a couple more wins. Garza is killing it. Andrade shouldn’t be losing as much as he is. And Theory should be the fall guy. If they play it right, they can set up a good face turn for Garza. He’s so damn charismatic.

Lastly, I think Raw is waaayy more enjoyable than Smackdown. They have been putting on good matches and taking a little more chances than what Smackdown has been doing. I’ve been watching both and honestly I can’t even remember anything about Smackdown.
