If this was a legit cutting the fat deal the only person I would've been surprised by is rowan. The rest are legit super job guys....and the oc who I dont understand why they resigned (both parties)

Imagine if a load of other wrestlers walked out in protest. With Reigns leading the way. Would be hilarious.

Hey I feel bad for anyone who loses a job but this is the world we live in right now. Zach Ryder gets to join the millions of others who also lost their job. Welcome to the club.

They're not doing live shows so most of these people will not be used for the next (x) months. It would be nice if they kept paying them cause Vince can afford it... but this is what billionaires do. This is 2020

Not that they’re gonna do anything for a while, but today Vince has made AEW look a hell of a lot more of an attractive prospect in the future.

that being said, it wouldn't surprise me, considering these were mainly on the RAW roster. Also IIRC WWE is kinda inconsistent about publicizing NXT releases, so I'd imagine a bunch of the complete unknowns at the PC will lose their jobs.

I’m pretty sure I’m about to lose my job today or by the end of the week. So I definitely feel for those cut, although I’m sure the lowest paid person probably made more than I’ll make in 10 years.

but I’m not shocked. This is how the US works and it seems like nobody is willing to change it. I mean, Jeff Bezos could probably pay half the country to stay home and not notice a drop in his funds. But all these damn public companies are just going to do whatever makes the imaginary stock market go up for a day or two until something else brings it back down.

 

Looking forward to some of the podcast interviews that are gonna come from this.
