So just to touch again how Hulu has more technical problems than my other streaming services. I tried to watch something on Hulu last night, and it kept timing out. Switched to Prime, and it played instantly with no problems. Though to be fair Hulu has been a lot smoother for me recently before last night.

 

Disney+ will still spontaneously start playing stuff in a language other than English for me every so often so I don't think Hulu has the most problems at the moment lol

 

That’s funny lol. Tbh D+ is buttery smooth for me personally.

 

Sometimes I’ll start playing something and back out and the audio will just continue playing. It’s the only problem I’ve had with it, but it’s annoying.

 

I get that on my Amazon Fire Stick but not my PS4. You're right, it's really annoying. Sometimes im just watching something then it cuts to black and I can't get it back without restarting the whole system.

 

Hulu loves to just close out shows now during commercial breaks

"Trolls World Tour" sucked total ass. I don't think the writers have heard a rock song past 1985.

 

Do you guys all have kids or are you watching Trolls World Tour by yourselves expecting to enjoy it? lol

 

When I saw people saying they were watching Trolls I assumed it was a different thing to the animated film. I was wrong apparently lol

 

I have two toddlers. Trolls was my four year old’s first movie he really attached to because he loves music and the songs grabbed his attention. I have seen it way, way too many times. The sequel less so. He watched the trailers excitedly for months, but the movie itself left him fairly indifferent. We asked him after it was over how he liked it and he said he liked the first one better.

Basically if you have kids say goodbye to watching things you want to watch for a long, long time. Sometimes I luck out and can get my son into some shows and movies with good writing. Sometimes.

 

My wife and I watched The Killing of a Sacred Deer last night, I enjoyed it, but much less than The Favourite. The acting felt a bit wooden and robotic at times. Also it was kinda heavy handed, but for a slow burn thriller I enjoyed it.

 

I just added it. I loved the Favourite, and my wife loved The Lobster

 

I’ve only seen The Lobster and The Killing of a Sacred Deer but I absolutely LOVED The Killing of a Sacred Deer and thought The Lobster was okay.

I need to see his other movies.

 

I love everything he's done from Dogtooth to The Favourite. The Lobster especially is one of my all time favourites.

Criterion Channel just put a couple of his earlier films on, maybe I should check them out. I never saw Dogtooth

 

Dogtooth is fantastic, I definitely recommend it. I think Alps got put on there too which is also great.

 

Dogtooth is the one I’m most interested in.

 

Definitely need to watch The Lobster next. I haven't seen enough Colin Farrell films.
