Same oh well at least Persona 5 Royal is in 24 hours

Also Laura started FF7 on Switch, it's her first FF so it's fun to watch her play it and get into it

She does! Her only complaint was that navigation was clunky, but she and I were both like "well yeah obviously it was a PS1 game" so it hasn't hurt her experience at all

 

She likes more turn based than action RPG or whatever so I figured starting with FF7 on Switch was better than waiting for the remake

I MIGHT have told her before a while ago when I thought there was no chance she'd play a FF game but I'm guessing she completely forgot

 

Kotaku's review of RE3 was pretty glowing, but I don't think I could justify paying for a game that only took them 6 hours. That's the one thing about these single player experiences. I could see them mayyyyybe being worth $20.

 

I mean REmake 2 was short and incredible

IGN Gave the single player part of re3 a 9

 

my fiance is definitely not a gamer, she only plays Spyro and Sims 4. However yesterday she starting telling me how she used to love playing Ecco the Dolphin for the PS2, so I ordered it for like $9 from ebay. She's going a bit stir crazy being home and out of work so I hope this helps a little.

 

This was a good call. The remake is probably going to be great but I'd still say the best way to play the game is the Switch version.

 

is this about FF7 Remake?

already mentioned it, but I've never played any main title FF past 6 and the demo felt a bit meh.

if anything i'm more interested grabbing the original FF7 on Switch because that looks more like my type of game.

 

RE2 had the A/B scenario though, so it was like two short games. I probably got 15 hours out of the combined story. No way in hell can I justify spending $60 on a 6 hour game.

 

I’m def holding out on RE3, one due to the price and two because I just don’t have it in me to play such a stressful game right now

 

I'm enjoying it theres just so much stuff that I imagine would turn off so many people expecting something different. Also the fact that theres monster energy drinks makes me laugh every time. That must have been a great meeting with the marketing department.

 

having fun with Bleeding Edge right now. not sure how long I’ll keep playing but it’s entertaining, kind of a mash-up of a ton of stuff that somehow all works together.
