not to mention Miami only has $25 million in cap space left and like half of that will be going to the rookie class

they loaded up on 2020 cap hits so they can have flexibility again next year

The more I watch Delpit the more he reminds me of Tashaun Gipson lol.

Deep coverage machine who’s capable of long-range interceptions, fast as hell downhill... and literally only ever dives for the toes / legs instead of making an open field wrap-up tackle.

I love him but I bet you anything Jax isn’t nearly high enough on him to be the team to select him.

 

Tashaun Gipson was a multi time Pro Bowler who was very good at getting interceptions & communicating audibles to the rest of the secondary, so this is not a diss post. I loved him and wanted to re sign him. It’s not easy to find that player.

Delpit is bigger than Gipson though so he could potentially learn how to tackle better.

I think college sports are gonna be real hard to bring back. The pro sports leagues, because they can travel by private jet, have more advanced medical teams, etc...they might be able to pull it off without crowds.

But man, its so, so far off that its hard to say. In a weird, super fucked up way, our terrible bagel response actually might make this pass through a lot of people fast and get live back to "normal" faster, but at the cost of a lot of lives
