So if restaurants can still do take-out but travel is restricted to employment purposes only, how does that make sense?

 

My paranoid ass was on this a week or two ago and I knew it was gonna get bad so between me shopping and my mom bringing us stuff at my request last week, we have enough to feed us for 2-4 weeks I think. I mean that last week or two would be rough, soup filled meals lol but it’s enough to keep our interaction with the outside world to a minimum for the next couple weeks. Hopefully we get our shit together on testing in the meantime

 

oh yeah I also bought a bunch of stuff before people took it seriously lol, excellent call

 

Yeah I think we're still gonna do take out here and there just to not run through our supply so fast....but I was super extra cautious last night when we did take out. I wore gloves, used a tissue to open the doors, brought my own pen, then once in the car, I used a clorox wipe to wipe my credit card and car keys, then used the wipe to hold the bag by its handles as i brought in the house. Once in the house I used another wipe to wide down the outside of the food boxes lol. Oh and then I wiped down my phone.

We didn't even buy the wipes, we just got lucky because her mom is a clean freak when it comes to that stuff so we had two opened wipe cannisters and have two unopened ones in reserve under the sink. Because we literally never use them, her mom just always buys us some when they come down to visit

 

Maybe it counts as going grocery shopping?

 

Seems bold to include things in the bill that wouldn't happen until after the emergency? Surely that will be shot down for sneaking in the democratic "agenda"

 

There should be consequences that the public benefits from long term if tax dollars are going to bail out corporations

 

Well update, officially got laid off and had to vacate my university quarters. Hoping I can get unemployment but MSU hates letting their employees or former employees get unemployment. Not homeless thankfully but I get to spend quarantine with my homophobic transphobic family so keep me in your thoughts
