I have way more confidence in Biden + Kamala winning than Biden + Klob

 

i don’t have confidence in either pairing. biden and abrams was the one i thought would have a shot.

 

Best shot is really Trump losing it by mishandling this virus response and tanking the economy. I’d love to see a progressive vp pick but I’m not holding my breath. It’d be tough to watch somebody I respect constantly covering for Biden’s lies and incompetence anyway I guess

 

I’m just trying to find some reasons to laugh through all of this. This one is especially good

 

Day 1 of tougher measures in the UK and our high street looks no different to usual. Still just full of people, mostly elderly, carrying on like everything is normal.

We just got an email telling us that any staff who have been in contact with a confirmed coronavirus case should continue to go to work until/unless they have any symptoms.

No testing. This is mad

 

Just got back in from a walk around Whitley Bay high street and noticed the same thing. Pensioners doing exactly what they were doing before.

I talked to my 91 year old grandma last night who goes dancing everyday to various classes in and around Newcastle. Her words were pretty much "I'd rather continue living the way I do and die then live in isolation "

I imagine a lot of pensioners feel the exact same way she does.

So our wedding DJ isn’t letting us reschedule (again our wedding was set for May 2nd) even though he admitted he is available on our new date. Everyone else has cooperated so far thankfully.

Insane. Although i have no idea how my company is handling these exposures. Thankfully i don’t work inpatient but i assume i will eventually be exposed to someone who tests positive and i hope I’d be able to get tested

My girlfriend has to go to work today at the mall, after a coworker who was KNOWINGLY exposed to people that were diagnosed with coronavirus came to work yesterday. The shift supervisor was notified about this coworker who sent it up to the VP of the company and nobody cares. Selling pop figures is more important than her life. Fuck this country
