I also just feel like there are so many kinder ways to get the same point across, and that’s why I’m 100% convinced it’s about being ‘smart/right’ or a purist. Because it’s one thing to say before someone gets it, “hey, have you considered the way that your tattoo will look from such and such angle/in relation to the rest of your tattoos/etc etc” and quite another to say “hey just so you know everyone’s going to see that as upside down, why did you get it upside down?”
