I’ve only used two teams in my six matches, and the only change is swapping Flygon out for Hawlucha.

For one of my last matches I want to use all of the Pokemon I drafted that I haven’t used.

 

I’ve changed mine for every match. Some builds are the same. But the teams are different.

I had a team I was gonna use against Dustin that was the most different of the teams I use and probably would've gotten swept with it

 

i have a foundation that i play around with but i think i have enough so i can start really mixing things up. hopefully.

there’s a particular style i want to do but i haven’t found the right matchup for it

@Fucking Dustin had the perfect team to take out Ghosty Group.

 

My team vs @thenewmatthewperry

His team was obviously ghost heavy but I couldn't JUST play it as a ghost heavy team so I felt I had to do some scouting on past games and figure out how it's being used. I saw that Cofagrigus was mainly being used for cripping and hazards rather than Trick Room so I brought Whimsicott with Defog to counter the fact that all of his Pokemon blocked Rapid Spin, and left Hatterene and some other slower Pokemon at home. Went Focus Sash to ensure I could Defog in worst case scenario but with 252 HP investment I probably could've gone with a different item.

This was the debut of Drapion and it performed extremely well as an end game killer, being able to resist Mimikyu and Gengar alike and preventing either from being able to sweep.

Prankster Thunder Wave and Reflect from Grimmsnarl ended up helping tremendously and I got very lucky on a couple switches where he tried to get me stuck with Specs.

It was interesting that neither of us gigantimaxed!

Fun fact I took this team into a triples match against @CarpetElf cuz he challenged me for fun, and cuz I chose a team at random and it just happened to be this one. He got a 5-2 lead on me and then Jellicent, the last survivor, crippled and swept him.

Also fun fact before I played @morgantayler I made a fake team of hers based on what I expected to see and had @Garrett L. battle me with it, and made tons of changes to adjust to it. Just cuz it's fun to share stuff here's the fake team I made for practice.

Jellicent is ridiculous. My team in general is rather weak to water types (I also had trouble with Gyrados). But Jellicent is a solid mon.
