Yo I had no idea John has a side project called Eerie Gaits. Anyone listened to it before?

 

It's great, but nothing like Wild Pink. It's ambient, but I'm into that kind of thing.

This is exciting and I know the next Wild Pink is supposed to be double album and my gosh would they fit nice on Polyvinyl!

 

Sadly don’t think the new album is going to be a double...unless the tracks are just really long. Even still, excited that it won’t be long until we hear something.

I've read this before back when it was written in 2018. I was asking for evidence that it wouldn't actually be a double-album and that it was coming out soon, like @Haruni said.

 

Unless he knows the band, there hasn’t been any updates of much except for Eerie Gates. I wouldn’t see why it wouldn’t be soon, the Tiny Engines situation might delay it some what but I suspect that just about any indie/punk label would scoop them up in two seconds. In a lot of ways what they have built to this point is similar to The Arcade Fire’s early path/first couple albums. They aren’t pigeonholed and can go in just about any direction they want, also like early Beck.

 

I guess masters or advances have gone out to some. Can find the name of the album and tracks on last.fm. Looks to be only 10 tracks.
