Yeah the big critique I see is too many fetch quests but....they all have that plus aside from the Hinterlands I think the other areas are pretty tightly filled with good side quests.

I forgot to mention I like the political/war table stuff and I just enjoy the idea of forming this inquisition. I like that DAI also embraces the world it’s in, the past games are referenced in several ways and it helps make the world feel big but still connected. I think in another game it would feel way too convenient that, say, Leliana was your head of spy network, but the way the games do it feels natural. Even Cullens little bits of progression in Origins and 2 help make his payoff of being head of Inquisition armed forces that much more significant.

Played it again and they can go ahead and zoom that camera angle out a lil bit

felt like I was staring into clouds ass the whole time

 

The biggest thing that bother me for some reason was the ATB bar having to be full to use a potion in battle haha.

I guess I just need to get better at the combat? During the scorpion battle it kinda started to come together and I think sharpening up big time on the combat will obviously make it a better experience.


I am giantly skeptical at how they are going to make a complete game with this combat though.

 

adding to the FF7R discussion, I thought they said that Part 1 will come on 2 discs since it's like 100gb?

 

FYI ps4 on rest mode costs like 3 dollars a year. It’s designed to use minimal wattage. There’s no point in ever turning it off unless you’re like going abroad and not playing for months. It’s been designed to be able to do that. It’s a lifesaver with big updates being ready for when you get home.

Agree with your thoughts on Origins. But knock it down a point because the Fade quest makes me vomit every time I start up a new playthrough.

Dragon Age 2 has a better story tbh, but its design is terrible.

Inquisition is designed like an MMO, but done badly. Also has the weakest story.

 

Is the finding the talisman things to save Atlantis part of the actual story of AC Odyssey or is it a side mission? I'll do it either way because it seems interesting but I genuinely can't tell the way it's presented, it seems like a weird direction for the story to take

 

There is an Atlantis DLC so I have assumed it’s connected to that and did not bother with things mentioning Atlantis

There are definitely “mythical” side missions in the game though. I was just crushed by a Minotaur yesterday lol

I don’t think so. I assumed they’re teasing it in the game so to say.

EDIT: I think Atlantis is also in the main game. It’s a side quest line. It’s a big game.
