Why would you want the wrestlers to not get their biggest payday though? And all the indie wrestlers that make a killing at other events?

 

There has to be a greater concern for all of Mania season. WWE is gonna take a huge hit on house shows. Indies are gonna lose a lot with the travel. Its not really a good spot for anyone. AEW was smart not to try and run with them.

 

because im not the one pressing the coronavirus button so if it gets pressed im gonna look on the bright side

in honesty i didnt consider those points and they're very good

 

I think you can be happy WWE will lose money and be super bummed that the wrestlers miss out on paydays.

 

Vince would make Goldberg/Roman wrestle in a field if it got canned

 

also id be surprised if WWE didnt give Mania paydays regardless, theyd still hold some equivalent show somewhere and they are after all trying not to hemorrhage talent

 

I’d assume they’d get their base pay but nothing above that. Corporations will save money at all costs.

 

Yeah, Mania getting canceled is a horrible outcome for the industry as a whole. So many shows, and vendors and promotions and performers and restaurants and businesses would be impacted. It's not just Vince.

 

I don’t think it gets cancelled unless the govt makes them.

 

And don’t worry. Seems like WWE’s day of reckoning is coming

Was talking about this game with friends on the ride to the guardians game the other day. I made the bold statement that it’s just as good, if not better than the n64 games

 

Lol that’s why I said it. Originally I had typed their time is coming. But that sounded too positive.

but basically, either they are going to get better and we will all be happier or they’ll go out of business and a lot of people will be happy. Can’t lose.

 

Am I wrong to be somewhat excited for this Lucha tag match tonight?

OK OK I am done bringing that up.

 

Major difference, WWE probably doesnt lose much if their house show + live event business tanks because all their money is built on TV revenue anyway. Whereas the indie shows, not so much.

I also suspect we're gonna see a massive spike in cases in the US as the testing actually gets accurate, and then people are gonna calm down when they realize if you're not 80+, this isnt a danger to you.

 

I need to point out that the best part in that video was Maxel and Wolf both going "Amen brother" and raising the roof.

 

NEVER feel bad about being excited for a lucha match.

 

The RAW matches don’t look bad tonight at all tbh

 

And they’ve been letting them wrestle on raw lately too.

Vince has barely been on the road lately, so I'm sure that has a lot to do with a quality bump in the wrestling.

 

I just picture him coming back after the XFL like “why the hell is there all this wrestling on my show?”
