Move to the UK, download Netflix. We get it a few hours after broadcast.

 

Also another option is get a VPN and make it pretend you're in the UK for Netflix. You don't need some special UK-only Netflix account; when I've traveled abroad, the selection of shows updated automatically.

Only caveat is that a good VPN usually has a monthly cost associated with it. But it also provides better security and privacy.

I'm watching episode 2 for the third time

 

finally got to watch both. yup still best show on television

the sight gag when Krazy-8 smacked the drainpipe is the funniest thing this show's ever done

 

I thought the stuff with the two guys going on a crime spree was tonally jarring, just felt really off. Other than that, great eps.

I'm still not sold on Lalo.

 

Yeah that was a bit difficult to suspend my disbelief over. I just can't see people thinking they can do whatever the hell they want and get away with it just because they found a cheap lawyer lol. But then again, there are some pretty dumb people out there

 

I loved the open, even if it was over the top. There are definitely people that dumb lol. The tone reminded me of when Jesse goes to the strip club with Walt's cash in BB

 

Agreed, while it was totally a bit out there, it had BB vibes to me

 

Lalo is already one of my favourite characters from this universe lmao, he's so wormy and charming and sneaky. The perfect change of pace from every other Salamanca being psychotic and ridiculous - not to mention a genuinely great foil for Gus

I just want my man Nacho to survive the show, but it's not looking good :(

 

I personally don't find Lalo charming, he's just kind of a shitty dude. He's not threatening enough to be afraid of him, and he's not interesting or charismatic enough to be likeable. He seems like the shitty stepdad you're meant to hate in a comedy

It's also very likely that his absurd ceiling shenanigans from last season has permanently tainted me on him.

 

the ceiling shenanigans were pretty bad I agree. S4 Breaking Bad level of goofy. fully disagree with everything else you said though, I was laughing for like a minute this episode when he pointed at the random dude and said ZEIGLER. YOU KNOW ZEIGLER?

slow burning, and some great performances.

Apparently the ceiling thing with Lalo was pulled directly from a true crime story. Truth is stranger than fiction

 

I didn't say bad? shit does get goofy as hell tho, and I'm not just talking about what happens to Gus. it's borderline cartoony at points whereas the last season pulls it back into (relative?) realism and is the better for it

Just watched ep2, fuck me I kept checking on how long I had until it ended becasuse I didn't want it to end. Very rare to happen these days.
