I haven't played Rogue

 

I don’t like Black Flag, but even if I did there would be no reason to not think that Odyssey isn’t similar (lots of sailing) but way better

 

Origins > Odyssey > Syndicate > II > Brotherhood > Unity

That’s mine. The rest I don’t like enough to rank.

I also think that in 2020, Unity is probably more playable than II and Brotherhood, but those were more fun originally.

 

bought Kakarot yesterday. i am really digging the good parts and turned off enough by the bad parts that im not picking it up to play it as much i expected.

pros:
- cutscenes are a fucking gorgeous recreation of the show
- combat looks so shallow on the surface but the final Raditz battle really kicked by shit in. had to dive in to the systems deeper and learn/utilize all of the defensive tactics. was really fun and satisfying.
- all sorts of easter eggs and references to OG DB and side stuff that are woven in pretty well
- hunting deer with ki blasts

cons:
- the rpg shit. oh why oh why the RPG shit. i dont wanna cook meals, or collect orbs, or farm materials. this game doesnt need to be 20 hours longer or whatever because of this.

 

Isn’t it an RPG though lol

 

Never was into crafting or cooking systems. Thankfully for most games it's completely optional and you can get by just fine without doing any of it

 

If you like Black Flag, and are an AC fan generally, honestly the Rogue remaster might be worth checking out when you have nothing else pressing to play.

It was really good to have that to play instead when Unity was so broken at launch lol

 

Have you seen how many games are out in the next few months? I'm never getting around to older games this year lol

 

RE3 isn’t even coming out until April 3, you’ve got a whole month

 

I've just started Rune Factory 4 and there's Animal Crossing, Nioh 2 and P5TR before RE3 lol

 

And then there's FFVII the week after RE3

Nioh is one of the few I know I'll get around to

 

Nioh is easily the best Soulsborne clone

 

Apparently theres a demo you can play of the second one that just came out? Idk if you knew that

 

Yeah i don't bother with demos of games I know going to love anyway
