Well I'm 25, so I'm older than some of these kids! I was one of the youngest staff members for a long time though.

 

The number 23 features in the title of the song on Clarity, "12.23.95".

'95 was the year I was born.

Yeah I had joined probably when I was like 17 or something but I only posted sporadically over there compared to how active I am here.

I disagree. That song has nothing to actually do with driving alone at night. Or actually even driving.

One line is literally about leaving the car in "park".

 

I was necessarily referencing the lyrics. More of the overall tone of the song.

 

I can't just ignore lyrics. Plus, I find it to be the worst song on Futures by a very wide margin. So, yea, I can't really support it as night driving alone music haha

 

Never thought I'd say this but I agree with Greg

 

Drugs or Me is my least favorite song on that album. I connect with the lyrics all too well, but I feel it drags on just a bit.

I'd take Night Driving over Nothingwrong, Pain, Just Tonight and Drugs or Me.

 

I wouldn't take it over all those songs, but definitely over Drugs or Me and likely over Just Tonight.

 

Just agreeing with Night Drive being my least favorite on Futures

 

Just Tonight is probably the 3 or 4th best on Futures to me

 

I'm not a big fan of any of those, especially Nothingwrong and I really like Night Driving.

 

That moment when Jim says "All at once the music stopped, the feeling went away" and all the music cuts out except him and his guitar gives me chills
