Be on the lookout for an announcement Wednesday, August 3rd. Not sure if it's just a tour announcement. Obviously crossing my fingers there's mention of the forthcoming album.

Just a big fan excited for the small market tour. I have a source through my work, but like I said be on the lookout for an announcement the 3rd. I didn't say I know for sure, just going off what I heard. But that leaked date said it's tickets go on sale the 5th and it sounds like that's the date for tickets for the full tour.

 

I only have (or ever had) the green "whiskey" logo shirt from way back in the day. But it's all faded and has ink stains from leaving a pen in my pocket in the wash at some point.

 

I wish I had a "mics are for singing" shirt from way back when or the red shirt with the jellyfish on it.

What are the chances of a Brand New Manchester Orchestra Kevin Devine Julien Baker lineup for The Stuffing in Atlanta this year? Thoughts?

 

You can still find them online sporadically. The blue hoodie with jellyfish is also boss, they're printed swimming up the right sleeve.

 

I doubt Brand New would open for MO's, nor headline at MO's own fest. If they opened, it'd have to be a complete surprise similar to the shows where Brand New opened for TGUK and The Movielife.

 

Ok then what about an Athens show on this tour? Maybe Georgia theatre (Modest Mouse did it last year). Could all be wishful thinking

Saw them at the Greek in Berkeley last night. Opened with Sealed To Me and never looked back. You Won't Know has turned into a fucking death march.

Wednesday makes the most sense. They always announce tours on Wednesdays with presale tickets going on sale on sound rink instantly and general tickets going on sale on Friday. I have no source but I'd bet on that. So Wednesday seems like the day.

Also if this is a tour featuring cities they rarely go to then I think I'm out of luck. They've been good to Florida the last 2 years. Uncharacteristically good. So I may not be able to go to this tour. We'll see.

 

Hoping they'll throw a UK date or two out there. Has to be coming soon!

 

I'm gonna guess this doesn't come anywhere near me in Cleveland. Wouldn't be surprised if they skip all of Ohio and western PA considering they've played Cincinatti, Columbus (twice) and Cleveland within past 4 years. Pittsburgh twice too. I'm gonna be shit out of luck.
