Sure. Personally I wouldn't care about the video, I'd watch it maybe once, but I'd probably listen to the audio quite often.

 

Fuck I didn't realize how much I loved this band until today

 

I would probably just cut "Make Me So." The first half would still be weaker than the second half, but not as much. I like "My Mountain" in the penultimate slot, personally.

 

Was thinking about this randomly today, but the memory brought me back.

Ocean Avenue is obviously the classic but i will NEVER forget the first time i heard Only One.

That was the moment when I very literally said "Holy SHIT!"

 

Eh, Make Me So is the best song of the first five, so I couldn't cut that. I wouldn't actually cut anything.

 

Woof.

 

"Only One" and "Empty Apartment" were immediately, and still are, my favorites from that record.

"Ocean Avenue" is probably my least favorite.

Wait wait wait Crash The Gates is the best of the first 5

 

I lied, Make Me So is the best of the first four full songs. Crash the Gates and One Bedroom are probably roughly tied for second.

Madrid is the worst song on LaS.

 

Madrid, Fragile and Dear, Crash the Gates and MSK.

 

Are all great songs.

 

Gun to my head Madrid would be my least favorite LaS pick but it's still a good song and a nice little curveball in the tracklist.

LaS also has some good heavy tracks too. I like when YC gets a little heavy and aggressive, like Surface Of The Sun or Fighting

Madrid, Fragile and Dear, MSK, and the title track are pretty easily the best songs on LaS.

After listening to all of their albums in a row after a long time, I now put OFTK easily above the two L+L's albums.

i know I'm sorry. I don't really like that melody a lot but it's still a good song

 

that melody is one of my favorite things about the album haha
