Never played a FF game before (well apart from XIV but that doesn’t count haha) but VII and IX are on sale right now. Suggestions on what to get?

 

IX

Nine is top tier FF and with VII remake coming out soon, albeit episodic, it might be worth just experiencing that game via the remake.

 

Can't go wrong either way. IX has much longer cutscenes/dialogue heavy scenes, obviously nothing is brutal because of fast forward mode but maybe you like long cutscenes

 

they’re both great so get both

 

yeah I second getting both but I lean towards 9 since it's my fav. Can't go wrong either way

 

If I had to say just one though I’d probably say VII, the reason being you’d be able to see for yourself whether it deserves all the hype it gets (it deserves about 85-90% of the hype it gets).

Just bought Vampyr and Greedfall in this sale.

 

I couldn’t really get into Vampyr when I tried it on Game Pass, which is a shame because I wanted to love it

 

I finally played Persona 5 after putting it off for so long. Holy shit, I regret not playing sooner. And of course, they're now coming out with an updated version. But, I bought it so long ago and have nothing to play, so no regrets. A truly incredible game and makes me wish JRPGs were more of a thing again.
