Looking for the "Sell You Beautiful" demo by Rx Bandits off of a Drive-Thru Records sampler.

 

I'm really surprised that Veruca Salt's "Low Grade Fever" is basically impossible to find still. It is definitely out there somewhere. There are at least 2 teases of it on YouTube. One is, unfortunately, a video of a soccer tournament that has background music playing over a loudspeaker, and has crowd noise over the entire song. Someone specifically selected "Low Grade Fever" to use as motivational music at the soccer match, and the video uploader even identifies the song. The other video is a Veruca Salt "sampler" that someone made, and has just a snippet of "Low Grade Fever" playing in full quality. There's a comment under the video where a couple people asked if the uploader would share the entire song, and the answer was a nervous "I don't think I should" etc.

I've been checking this thread for weeks hoping someone has figured out where this song went! Hopefully it becomes available soon, a lot of fans would greatly appreciate it!

Here are the 2 videos I mentioned that have "Low Grade Fever" in a truncated form. Note that in the soccer match video, the song doesn't start until about 2:56 (another song plays until then) but is the entire LGF song, just not in good quality. And in the "sampler" video, LGF starts at about 3:57 and only plays for about 30 seconds.

The song is out there; how has it not seeped out yet, after all this time?

 

It's out there somewhere; there are 2 videos on YouTube that feature snippets of it, but somehow it seems impossible to get a hold of still...

It looks like it was available on US election day in November 2018 if you texted to some number saying you voted... Looking at the comments responding to the original post on Facebook, there appeared to be some difficulty with some people following all of the directions and not receiving the song, but a few other people did confirm receiving the song. If you have Facebook, you could try reaching out to one of those people. I don't have Facebook so I can't do it myself, but I have had luck tracking down obscure songs by reaching out to people in a similar manner even years later.

Yeah, it was apparently exclusively available to people who participated in that voting scenario, and like you said, lots of participants who made the effort complained of not gaining access to the song, and still a smattering of participants who actually did obtain the song.

I think you're right about reaching out to people on Facebook being the best bet, I've just always been avoidant of social media (don't have Facebook either).

There's even a thread on Veruca Salt's Reddit page where this topic was posted about and no one responded.

I've racked my brain searching for the song everywhere online I can possibly think of, and have resorted to just repeating my searches to see if it's somehow popped up somewhere by now.

Another frustrating thing is that sometimes I see results come up, but it's just a song by a different band & just has the same name as the VS song.
