The Vinyl Collective forums. I was able to bundle these two records. It was kind of an expensive deal but I needed these in my collection. Spent $100 for the pair. DATH usually goes for like 75-plus. I've seen BTCAC on eBay, but mostly by flippers. Fair price should be like 35-40 tops.

Kinda surprised how long the flesh /500 B&C pre-orders have lasted, but when you charge $20 for a single LP I guess that's what happens.

Dude, it rules. Shit is so hard to find and I don't think it will ever be repressed. So I had to shell out.

Yeah I got mine a few years back for like $65 I think. Worth every cent. Love that merlot variant. Goes with the artwork/title perfectly.

Their debut is another favorite of mine. Doubt I'll ever sell those. That band stopped making music way too early. They put on a hell of a live show, too. I think I saw them three times. Once for their album release show for Small Steps, Heavy Hooves. There couldn't have been more than 20 people there. Got to chat with Ian Metzger beforehand and he even played "Run In The Front" for me. I discovere the band through myspace hah.

One of my favorite shows was this one:

What a great show that was. Equal Vision had some of the best acts 10 years ago.

What does everyone use to hold their vinyl?

I've been looking for a good year to find something really nice to hold my vinyl, preferably like a wooden stand with doors (I have a 23-month-old - Doors would be a HUGE plus) to hold a good amount of vinyl and then I could even put my record player and speakers on top of the stand. I can't find anything worth purchasing.

I purchased a black stand on Amazon that at the time held all my vinyl, but I quickly outgrew it. I have about 80 vinyl and counting.

The IKEA Kallax is usually the go-to. Been looking for something myself since I'm completely out of room. Have considered building storage shelves.

I just googled and saw this link: KALLAX Shelf unit - birch effect - IKEA

Are the doors extra cost? They doors appears in one of the three pictures.

I just picked this up because I outgrew my crates. I'll let you know how sturdy it is once everything is loaded in there. 6 cubes holds a little over 350 records.

Next Show - Foals April 22nd

I used the 2x2 Kallax and it's been perfect. I was looking at the doors/drawers for it and yes, they did cost extra. I actually enjoy having it open and my collection displayed but I completely understand that it makes way more sense for you to have it enclosed. Overall, it's a cheap, sturdy and good looking shelf that fits vinyl perfectly.

I had a family friend build this. It has 6 shelves you can flip through. Each section holds about 40-50 records. I put some of my favorites in alphabetical order. For the rest of my records I use the bottom the bottom cabinet and line them all up shelf style (similar to the ikea Kallax setup. Whole thing houses about 400 or so records.. It's been great.

I'd prefer to keep it open as well, and at this point, my son can open doors, so it doesn't really matter anyway, haha. I'll probably end up going with the open option.

Thanks everyone for the links, I'll end up going with one of these.

  20. I bought a first press of The Wonder Years - The Upsides for a STEAL and it came in the mail today. Really happy to finally own this. Already framed above the turntable.

How much? How much do these normally go for? I've got 1st pressing black variant.

  22. I paid $50. I've only ever seen them go for $100+ on eBay over the years, though admittedly I'm no expert.

    Really??

I'll need to do some research. I don't think I would not mind parting with it but I'm not sure. I've had it since it came out.

    **Edit-Because I need more sleep.
