It’s tough to give a shit about raw when the heels win every single week

 

that Shayna/Becky moment definitely made me say what the fuck. Though Becky the Vampire Slayer is one of the best things I've heard in a while

 

Of the parts I saw, that was god awful for a RAW that's ~50 days from WM. Aleister Black, Garza, and Street Profits all doing jobber matches with no obvious meaningful direction. Lashley, off that endless Rusev feud, eating a pin to build Ricochet for the Saudi show. This never ending Rollins/KO/whoever feud. Cant see any of that being interesting for WM unless they work some magic.

And even the stuff they got right (Rhea + McIntyre looking badass) kind of flopped because two of the three hours were squashes.

Black's squashes are def building for something big. I would guess he faces Taker at Mania listening to those promos.

 

He was supposedly in the running to win the Rumble with Drew so they probably have something big for him

 

He'll be in a six man tag match or something, lol

 

This is kind of my theory; though I'd call him the ARMBAR winner.

Kofimania, which I think most of us would consider a late build, started on the shows the equivalent of this week. And its only because he had a decade+ of history, teammates who'd been pushing for this, etc that it worked. Batista/HHH started around now too, but, again, massive history to draw from.

Black has no hint of an opponent, and no credible competition beaten in months. They might be building to some version of Garza/Carillo/Andrade for the US title, but if not, then thats as directionless as ever. And RAW's the show that actually has some stuff built...I dont think (Reigns/Fiend aside) there is any obvious match coming from SD
