  3. First single is great, don't want to extrapolate too much from one song but it definitely feels like this album is going to take them in a new direction. Love it.

But Jason for the love of all that is holy, please release studio version of "Overseas" as the next single, I'm dying here.

  4. Song's already stuck in my head this man is unreal

Good song but don't really love that vocal effect. Hope that's not on every song. Still pumped for the album though.

Digging the more throwback rock sound. Hopefully we get some whiskey soaked country influence as well though.

My only knock is that there wasn’t any ska to be found on this one haha. I had my hopes up from the artist thread lol. I’m just disappointed in @SteveLikesMusic tbh.

  9. I like the single - maybe not quite as immediate as "Hope the High Road" was, but I'm really excited for the album.

Love the song and the sound, do not love the production though. I think it holds back a huge chorus.

I am surprised by the production too, really doesn’t sound like Cobb, but oh well the song is still pretty great.

Does he always do a Ryman residency in the fall? Trying to decide if I want to hold out for those or get tickets for a tour show.

He has every year for like 5 years straight. The last one was like 7 nights or something crazy.

I'm really feeling the song, but it also kind of bothers me that "do it anyway" has more syllables than can fit into where he's fitting them.
