Green Day – “Meet Me on the Roof” Video

I’m trying hard to like these new songs but they are pretty monotonous

 

I like the video.

Far from the worst on the album........ Still not saying much though

 

I just like how they took such a figurative approach with the video

 

You're fucking high if you think this is the worst song on the album, it's catchy af

 

Agreed that this is the worst song. I actually really fuck with the record. As much as I love their classic sound, this is better than another Rev Radio (an album that I actually really like.)

Obviously I would prefer a stripped down pop punk record but I doubt we're gonna get that from them.

I’m really enjoying the album! Maybe I’m loco and it’s just a phase (or I’m missing something) but I think this is the best thing since American Idiot.

Edit: maybe it’s because I love that early 2000s The Vines/Hives “fun” garage rock sound. That’s gotta be it.

 

I really like it too. I don't think i'll be spinning it constantly but it's some fun garage-y pop rock. Very much in the vibe of Pinhead Gunpowder and The Longshot but with more expensive producers. It's better than GD just repeating themselves over and over like they have been with the Trilogy and RevRad.

 

I think it's a fun, high energy, and catchy record. Definitely my favorite since American Idiot.

This is the worst song on the album? Will have to give a listen then because this is catchy as hell.
