What an amazing show last night. I can't believe it but this band just gets better every time I see them. Modest Mouse also put on a good show but Brand new was just freaking epic.

 

Fuckin right.

I thought the dab was kinda funny. They seem like they're having more fun as a band now. The second to last time I saw them was in a tiny room (200 cap maybe) in Birmingham last year and they were joking and getting up on stage with the support act and generally seemed to be far happier. Good for them.

Also, posted this in the "unpopular opinion" thread on /r/BrandNew but Magazines is my favourite song on YFW now. It's the one I go back to the most, and has the least overly aggressive lyrics.

 

His hands are shaking pretty aggressively though.

so I guess it's safe to say that the upside down hand print is no longer in consideration for the album artwork.

The sticker that peels off of the IAAN vinyl artwork is a glimpse at the artwork for the full LP.

I was at the Grand Rapids date of that tour, I actually was drunk while all my friends were at Riot Fest and bought a ticket off of someone on AP haha. Can't remember his name, but he only charged face value which was awesome.

 

I won't believe there is a new album until people are ranking it on this thread before they've finished listening to it.

The hand print logo would've been such a cool Brand New album art too. I hope the LPs art blows me away. I love their aesthetic.

 

Yeah I really liked the thought of that design somehow factoring into the artwork.
