I feel like those last two scores should be reversed and even then I'd say it is a liiiiittle harsh on 21CB.

Don't really know why I'm even considering listening to this band anymore. I must really hate myself.

This is like when a sports player you loved gets over the hill and is still trying to slug it out with the younger, hungrier, fitter players, but just can't cut it anymore, and the way the game is played has changed and they just don't understand.

Sad to hear this band sound so boring and old.

Boring and old is not how I’d describe this record

I frequently listen to my 12 son/43 minute long playlist called “Cuatro” made up of my favorites from The Trilogy. It’s very reminiscent to Warning and I enjoy it a lot.

My trilogy best-of playlist is called Catorce.

  9. Red Rav was some shit too the last decade has not been great for this band.

I honestly liked a lot of the trilogy, or at least I did at the time. Maybe the production could have been a lot grittier but the songs themselves were good.

I kind of love this after about five listens, btw. I think Butch's production really elevates it. It's the first album since 21st Century where I actually like the way it sounds.

I think I like this more than Rev Rad. I didn't really hate a majority of the trilogy and I didn't really see it as much of an improvement. This at least sounds like they're having fun. Kinda reminds me of a sequel to Foxboro Hot Tubs

I haven't listened to the album yet but that wouldn't exactly be difficult.

I'm liking this way more on my second listen.

I really liked the title track from the start. The other two I was lukewarm on, but they're growing on me. But yeah, I think those songs both make more sense in context and aren't necessarily the best songs here. I really enjoy some of the classic pop/power pop influences that crop up after that initial three-song run.

Sugar Youth is really good. Junkies, too, but it sounds like Boulevard run through a Butch Walker rock filter. Last song is okay, too. I could skip the rest.

I've listened to this album about 7-8 times and I think I like it? I wasn't expecting to, but I also think the lead singles are the worst, most forgettable songs here.

Such a weird album (in a good way, I think?). Kudos to them for making me consider all of this, at least.
