Is it just me, or is it weird that they're playing Tautou in the set and then again with You Won't Know? I mean, I love it with the breakdown of You Won't Know, and even by itself as well, but I'd imagine at these shows it would feel like they're playing a song twice.

I said by pop punk standards. In other words, when comparing it to good pop punk albums, it doesn't hold up. Simple as that.

Didn't they announce a new single would come this summer? It would make sense if they released a new song next month along with the release date of the album. And if there is a tour coming this fall, I think September would make sense. Anyway, this is all just speculation.

I doubt it. We've had Mene for well over a year now.

That would just be purposefully deceptive.

 

Idk, we're getting a full album worth of songs in september. I am not going to split hairs over them releasing new or old singles ahead of time or not.

That said, I'd appreciate one ;)

 

I thought about it as I was writing the post. I can't find the press release but I remember it made it sound as if they were referring to a song on their new album.

 

I'll say this though, I hope we're done with Vinyl until the album drops. I hope no one in their right mind is ready to spend money on redundant LPs.

So I just hope it's one of those cases where you can play 2 tracks of the album once it goes up on Apple Music instead of just I Am A Nightmare.

 

Yeah. My wife said that the only vinyl I'm allowed to buy for the rest of the year is the new Brand New album. No more singles, or other one offs. Getting expensive. I've spent $50 on their new releases alone, since May, and I don't even have a new album to show for all that cash.

 

It's just taking the piss at this point, were they to release another one.

 

And I'd freaking buy it, because I'm me and this is Brand New.

 

Same, I have a complete Brand New collection and I'm keeping it that way. Plus there are already a couple other albums I've pre-ordered.
