At this point, it’s a tie between Time’s Arrow and The View From Halfway Down for favorite. Both capture the subject matter in such a creative yet heartbreaking way.

 

very fair stance, although The Old Sugarman Place is a firm lock for my favourite episode of this show. actually one of my favourites of anything I've ever watched.

 

Really disappointed there was no resolution to what Hollyhock said or where she is, she just kind of left. I wish we knew something of what was in that letter, but it kind of just acted as a reason to spur the last bender. I wanted some reconciliation with her the way the other main characters got something.

 

In a show that has basically made a name for itself with clever and emotionally resonant writing, the actual poem "The View From Halfway Down" stands as the show's best.

The weak breeze whispers nothing

I don't know that we really needed that, though. Based on how Hollyhock was treating Bojack leading up to the letter, we can get the gist of what she said in it. She cut him out of her life. There's no more story to tell there. We don't get a resolution to it just like how Bojack doesn't. She's gone, and he has to live knowing that his past and the person he was pushed away someone he truly loved and cared for.

 

She doesn't owe him anything though. She tried to give him a chance to like him but BoJack ended up pushing her away with his actions and she came to the realization that there was nothing worth keeping him in her life for. I think it's best that it's left unsaid what was in the letter because it's very much like life, we don't always get a reason why someone leaves. We just have to accept it and move forward.

The reveal that PC and Diane both got married and have good, healthy relationships made me so, so happy. I was so worried during the rooftop conversation that Diane's worry over Bojack caused her and Guy to split up

 

I’m happy they both got the proper closure they deserved, especially PC

 

Just started the final episode

 

What a show.

 

I got drunk and rewatched the last few episodes and I'm pretty confident in saying this is my favorite TV show ever. Everything about the last two episodes and the majority of the series as a whole is basically perfect and I don't think I could have asked for a better show to come into my life at the point that it did. For as toxic and awful as Bojack himself was, it really made me do some introspection and realize how much of myself I saw in him and how much I didn't want to be that. It unironically changed my life in a way that no other show has and I doubt any other show will.

 

Overcome with emotion having just finished it. Right there with the Sops as my favorite show of all time.

 

Also my only gripe is that Diane is from Boston but always complains about Chicago winters as if they are that much worse. They’re not lol

 

What a remarkable show. Truly one of a kind.

 

Such a strong ending. The finale really made me feel things.

 

This final season really did remind me of The Sopranos final season. Truly astounding, all time great television
