Hahaha ok guy. People have the right to feel any way they want.

 

Ok? I'm not sure how that applies to what I said, but everyone knew what they were in for with those shows. There was nothing presented by the band indicating one way or the other as far as what albums would be played. So if there's a 50% chance of a person feeling let down, they prob should temper expectations.

 

i hope there's no demos on the album, but i also hope the newer Nobody Moves sees the light of day, so if any demo is on the album, please let it be that one. i'll be happy with anything

 

I highly doubt that any of the demos will be on the new album.

 

i don't think so either, and that's why the reworked stuff got their own release, but i think the possibility exists

So, my new co-worker also works for a booking company in town (Sioux Falls, SD). He said Brand New (w/ Modern Baseball) are coming this fall...

Basically, this will be a 'places we haven't traveled to' farewell tour sort of thing.

Fucking crazy.

 

Ugh. Not a Modern Baseball fan, but I'll stomach them for Brand New.

 

I'd imagine any 'farewell' kind of tour would be next summer/fall. Otherwise they'd break up in 2018 and not do anything in 2017? Wouldn't make sense.

I have a feeling they're going to do a TON of touring next year and I'd be willing to bet it'd be with Manchester Orchestra and Kevin Devine as openers (for their final tour).

 

Why Modern Baseball?

 

That's the tour I'd be most into.

The older I get, the more frustrated I get about having to sit through bands I'm not into. Is that bad? Maybe I need to get my bearings straight and suck it up. I know new bands need to support bigger tours to gain notoriety.

I just want to go to a show and hear "my" band, but I also want to get there when the doors open to secure a good spot in the crowd.

 

I very rarely check out the openers anymore. I typically call the venues the day of the show and ask for set times and show up about 20 minutes before the headliner goes on (unless of course I like the opener too). I'm not a 'get close to the stage' kind of guy anymore either as I typically hang out back to get drinks and stuff. That said, I went to the Modest Mouse/Brand New show in Pittsburgh this month and got as close as I could and didn't move for 5 straight hours. But that to me is different as i LOVE both bands.

I would love for it to be a full US tour but would understand if it isn't. Europe definitely needs some love too.

I'm taking it with a grain of salt. The Reddit post had someone come in and "confirm" it happening. They could be in cahoots.

 

Ok, and what if 5-10 of them have been there for 2+ hours and you missed it?
