Last nights Raw was more exciting/better than Battleground.

 

Naka and Ibushi always entertain even if theyre facing both halves of that jobber tag team.

 

Finn should have come out as The Demon against Reigns.

 

That would have been dumb to blow their demon load on the first night, Finn should tease that he's "bring the Demon" for weeks and finally done at Summerslam, as to build anticipation for the moment he finally comes out in the paint.

 

So I finally got around to watching Battleground, and if I'm not mistaken did commentary actually refer to a ref that wasn't Chioda or Lil Naitch by name? I hope that's a part of the changes they're making, because refs being acknowledged by name is something I've missed.

 

The production for main event Demon Finn could be cool, but I've cooled on him a ton.

 

Anyone have clips from jobber reigns last night?

 

What if triple h is behind the Finn Balor push and is gonna screw Rollins at summer slam? Lol prob not

 

or they do the thing that happened when the split used to exist.... "Hmmm haven't seen that IC belt defended on a ppv in a while" or "US title? ahh pre-show". you'll get a lot of that with the split

slowly but surely the ugly head of why the brand split sucks will begin to show

 

Also I think it would've been really hard for Finn's artist to complete the demon look in two hours between matches...

 

I think it would have been fine for both.

 

It wouldn't make sense in his debut to have the demon. There was no reason for it at all last night.

 

I just want to see Finn come out on Gallows' shoulders. No demon needed.

 

When bayley comes to main roster officially would you put her on smackdown in order to keep her and sasha separated in the beginning

 

I'd make her the top person on Smackdown, for sure.

 

Bayley plus one more strong female talent (Asuka, Nikki, or Emma) instantly makes the SD women's roster more on part with Raw's

Also, making the tag belts on SD be tornado tag is a fantastic idea that gives it it's own identity. Props to whoever said that earlier in the thread. Too lazy to go back and look

 

I haven't posted in a while, and I haven't gotten to watch a full show in sometime as well. After watching Raw last night I can't help but feel excited. I love the new look, the production was fantastic. I kind of got a classic WCW vibe as well, I love the in ring interviews, and the enhancement matches I actually dig, I love how they actually interviewed a jobber. It all brings me back to being a kid. Also, I marked the fuck out when Sasha won, her smile melts my heart.

About to leave for Smackdown tonight. Excited for American Alpha's debut, the Daniel Bryan pop, AJ, some of the women (Becky/Alexa/Carmella), and hopefully a few surprises.

Lol I've been pregaming a bit.

 

My main worry for Smackdown is that you have an over babyface authority and 3 over top main event/uppercard babyfaces, and then you 2 main event/uppercard heels that despite being good wrestlers just don't seem strong enough as heels to pose a serious threat to the babyface majority. You have a Clubless heel AJ and Wyatt with only a single follower left... I guess they could throw Del Rio in that uppercard heel mix too if they wanted but still.

 

Same thing for the tag division on SD

 

Orton can very easily turn heel. Corbin and Miz could easily be elevated as well. But I agree in that Smackdown needs at least 1-2 more top stars. I would say Joe but we can't keep pillaging NXT at this point.

Now that I think more about it...Owens would have been perfect as a top SD heel! Ugh!
