Bayley and Lacey was a F- for me - worst match of the night

it's insane that Lacey Evans has had 4 PPV title matches in like 9 months already

 

People have become so conditioned to all the BS from the women's division that we're giving a pass on Charlotte winning a Rumble. Actually worse than if Reigns had won

 

Yeah I hate it a lot for a trillion reasons. Padding these charlotte stats... whyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. I just don't get it. Charlotte gets another title shot at wrestlemania...even though back to back years she hasn't been involved in anything.

 

yeah that's why I mentioned the mens and women's rumbles were polar opposites - women's started out great and ended terribly and the mens did the opposite. even tho sleeping on it I like the booking of the men's rumble a lot more than I did initially last night

but yeah Charlotte Flair is the drizzly shits and the last thing she needs is a royal rumble win

 

Charlotte is one of the best wrestlers on the women’s roster. Not saying she’s the dogs bollocks or anything, but the amount of top wrestlers in the main roster women’s division is pretty slim and it’s a problem. Yeah, we all would have preferred Shayna to win it and yes, I shouted fuck off at the TV when she won, but I can think of a fair few others that would have been worse than Charlotte.

 

I think there is nothing Charlotte needs less than a Rumble win & yet another Wrestlemania title shot and so many women that could have used that boost. And that's without even going into whether you like her as a performer (I don't)

 

Listening to this and hearing the emotion in her voice is so great. Glad she’s in a better place now too.

 

locally, it a nickname for it. there's merch out there with it. i like it. down the street, some houstonians call the toyota center 'the garage'...

if i would tweak one thing from last night was in the women's rumble. kai comes in and kicks shop. then nox enters next and they go at it. when others jump in tegan and dakota go back to beating each other up and eventually eliminating each other simultaneously, and they keep brawling back to the entrance/exit.

Oh btw Strowman is my nominee for LVP of the night. Probably the only part of the men's rumble that bothered me.

Him not wanting to do everything in his power to get lesnar out...ahhhh. just so he does his run in circles spot

I think that it's going to be tough to build up feuds for Drew v Brock and Fiend v whoever (Reigns probably).

 

I am still not sold on the rumble. I am sorry but I find Macintyre not too compelling. And regardless if it was a nice surprise, the brock shtick still made people like Shinsuke, Kofi and many others look like jobbers. I can not see the benefit here.

 

At one point I was seriously hoping for Brock to go 29-0 lol

 

The thing is some combination of the four horsewomen have been in damn near every title match at mania since 32. So really you could say the same thing about all of them.

 

No no no see that's where I disagree. Yea they all get featured but none of them get the treatment quite like charlotte

And sasha can definitely not be included in that at all

Charlotte was in that first triple threat for the title and won. She was in the fatal 4way for title year after that. She then beat asukas streak. And then she gets inserted into Becky's match last year.

This will be 5 straight years where charlotte is in THE featured womens match. And the maddening part of it is that she gets included even when shes not relevant in storylines.

And she gets random shit like beating trish stratus at summerslam for some reason.

Just nonsense legacy building in my opinion

 

The way Charlotte gets treated is absolutely nothing like how Sasha (or even Bayley) gets treated. Cmon, that's a false equivalence

Even though I didn't agree with Brock tossing Keith lee as one of the throw ins, it was at least a good idea that finished off super well. This years women's rumble was so much like the reigns rumble where you it was obvious for the last 10-15 minutes that Charlotte was going to win, maybe even longer if you count from when she was laying outside the ring. It was also lame how she didn't have any respectable opponents you could see winning, that made it even more obvious.
