I couldn’t get past like the first open world part of DA:I. Got pretty bored. I really had high hopes too.

 

I was the same, and I went away for a while, then I just toughed out about 5 hours yesterday and got the hang of the 'power' system and the war room stuff or whatever and i'm really buying into it now. Definitely had to push myself through the start and get used to all the mechanics. Deff recommend giving it another try. I just started on my old file and was able to get my bearings pretty quickly. Probably been about a year since I played.

 

That’s not a good part, you have to get out of there asap. That’s the big flaw of the game.
