nice, will probably play though A Plague Tale when I can.

 

Exploring Ventaor in Fallen Order is really cool and crazy that it's optional.

I wish all the parts, clothing, paint jobs etc were more than just cosmetic, if they had buffs it would provide an incentive to use them. Some things I never changed, like my emitter on my lightsaber.

 

Anybody play this? Sounds pretty cool.

 

Turns out all you need is good internet infracstructure

 

I had more fun with Gears 5. Hellblade was cool to look at and has a beautiful world but I never actually had much fun playing it.

 

I’ve actually already played and beat both since posting that, but I would completely agree. Hellblade was fine, but I wasn’t floored by it or anything. Gears 5 was a lot more fun.

I’m now playing My Friend Pedro and loving it.

 

Man call of duty has a 40 gb update today wtf. In addition to the title update theres a multiplayer pack 2 and a speck ops pack you have to download before you can play either

 

At least we got extra class slots now.

 

Nice, I just started playing that as well since it's on Game Pass. Really loved Untitled Goose Game, especially the ending, such a funny pay off.

Haven't had much time for games for the last few months and it's been killing me. Slowly getting into Control. The more I play it the better it is. However it's quite choppy on my Xbox One. Is it like that for the PS5 too?

 

Haven’t played Control, hoping it comes to Game Pass soon. A friend of mine has been playing it on his One S and he said he’s had a few issues with frame rate drops and whatnot, but another guy I know said he had next to no issues playing his One X, so I guess maybe it depends on which one you’re playing on. Either way, it doesn’t sound like it’s an isolated incident with the older models.

For PS4, yes. Even Pro I think. Apparently not on One X though.

Yeah thats something I hope they add in the second one. Itd be awesome if certain emitters added more damage or block ability. Just some kinda incentive to change them. Same goes for clothing.

But I honestly loved the game - was my fave of last year.

 

Finally getting around to playing some games in far too long.

Started up Life Is Strange 1 again, having never completed it despite buying it at launch. The last 1/2 of Episode 4 is incredible, finally looking forward to where this story goes

 

I changed my lightsaber literally every time I walked by one of those tables lol.

 

Anyone played My Friend Pedro? Pretty simple game, but having a ton of fun with it.

 

Loved it. Beat it over the weekend. Was simple, but it definitely introduces some cool stuff later in the game.

 

I just started the second world/chapter, whatever you want to call it, so I’m excited to get there!

 

Absolutely loved that game. Thought the soundtrack was perfect.

Life is Strange 2 is pretty good too but I played the episodes as they were released (took a full year I think) so I wasn't as engaged with the story. I think it would be better completed within a short period of time instead.

 

What about Before The Storm?

 

Turned on my PS4 for the first time in like 6 months and Dragon Age Inquisition was loaded so I put it on. No idea wtf is going on but always wanted to try to get into it lol meh

 

working through the game right now. I just go back to dathomir, before I left Greez was like "isn't there a crashed ship on Zeffo?", I explored the ship the first time around when the story took me to that planet, should I go back at this point in the game, like is there more I could do and find than before? game has been a lot of fun.

my main gripes were I wish there was more to the collectables, also wish there was more outfits, but I found an all black one and two ponchos I liked. and the other gripe is just that i felt like i didn't get emotionally invested in the character i was till pretty late in the game.

still really enjoying it and excited for the future of star wars games. a definite step in the right direction.
