It's a shame this post got absolutely zero likes. I put a lot of effort into crafting this one.

Uh, maybe because her statement didn’t unequivocally shut down the idea that he was being sexist and instead simply stated “he did say that” without offering further context that he was likely referring to the misogyny of voters?

she gave her supporters further fuel to to continue to push the narrative that Bernie is a misogynist (which they did!) and now the campaign is trying to walk it back because it backfired so badly

 

on back in reality land, her statement made it clear she was still fully supportive of Bernie and we should be focused on the issues that matter

then when people continued to try and focus on other stuff she had to iterate "no seriously stop attacking Bernie on this focus on what matters"


not walking back anything just staying on message and trying to do her part to stop the Bernie stans and the Warren stans from derailing the entire party over this

 

this is the most galaxy brained generous naive interpretation of what happened and I can't believe it was posted seriously

 

tell that to the people who are poo brained enough to try and argue Warren somehow planned all this

 

i mean i won't argue that silver isn't poo brained lately so you got me there

 

That anyone thinks this will be remembered or even register with voters in two weeks (or even on the ground right now) is cute.

Warren is smart enough to know there is no way she could've gained from a story like this. All it does is hurt Warren and Sanders

Was Warren also smart enough to not take and then release the results of a DNA test that proves that she’s not Native American?

 

It's a primary! The whole point is to draw contrasts with the other candidates. They SHOULD have responses to "why should I prefer your candidate over candidate x."

I don't know why everyone pretends that isn't the case.
