Do go on. The only sign I'm aware of is there also being a general DMC announcement the same day (alongside two additional announcements the following weeks) and that's pretty tenuous as signs go.

Also some announcements on future DLC would be nice. I haven’t seen anything to support this, but I always hoped they’d do a round of echo DLCs. I like that they made echos but the idea feels underutilized, they seem less intensive than full new characters so I thought we might seem some.

 

I’m just going off what people are saying on reddit. I haven’t kept up with what’s going on other than that people are saying “signs are pointing towards Dante”. What those signs are? Idk

 

I think Sakurai mentioned with the announce of the first fighter pass that he won’t release an echo as a DLC because he wants the player to feel like they’re buying a completely new character and not a skin.

 

I’d still like to see Master Chief or Crash

 

That’s why I always thought, based on nothing, that echos could be included as bonuses along with other DLC characters. New character + an echo. I thought it’d be fun but no idea if they’d ever even considered it.

 

I saw rumors at one point of KOS-MOS from Xenosaga being announced and thought that could be a cool, unexpected possibility.

 

I hope the next fighter pack is all first/second party. I’ve only cared for banjo in the first pack

Dante is fine, but not my preferred.

We just need Frank West.
