Got back from the show and holy fuck guys. I don't even like KOTW but that song ruled live. I love this band.

I guess SOOHM and Sober aren't going to be singles? Since this is a band that practically only plays singles

 

So no changes tonight?

 

Always was replaced with Reckless Abandon but that's the only change

 

Oh shit I love both of those songs but I'd definitely rather hear Always

 

Decent quality of "No Future" from the first night.

 

But hey! They cut a single. This is progress!

 

I might be completely wrong about this, but I feel like The Only Thing That Matters might be about the band itself. At least the first verse and chorus.

This is Mark singing about Matt joining blink.

And then Matt singing about blink taking him in. It makes sense after watching the interview were he talks about his life being a mess before joining.

The chorus is pretty self explanatory.

 

Not to go off topic completely, but has anyone listened to that new version of December by Neck Deep with Mark? I am not a big fan of them really, but that song, especially Mark's part, is great!

 

Show was awesome tonight. I think that's the best I've ever seen blink sound live. Mark was still having trouble with BTD but they were awesome otherwise. The stage setup is cool with the lights and changing videos. Just wish they would have played San Diego tonight. And not a KOTW fan but it sounds good live.

I think so too, which is unfortunate because it's my favorite song off the album. It's a perfect metaphor.

 

Cynical sounds amazing live and I really like Mark and Matt together on No Future. Wished they had played San Diego tonight and She's Out of Her Mind. I love hearing Reckless
Abandon and Dysentery Gary live. They didn't play Always, which I'm totally fine with.

About them playing switching up their playlist, I agree, especially when they play two shows in one city, why not switch it up each night.... Radiohead has a couple of different setlists that they rotate throughout their tour. But no matter what Blink plays I always have a great time at their shows.
