it was 5k until sometime in 2012 i think then it got bumped to 10k and then eventually it just didnt matter anymore, basically.

 

What was the B-sides thread. I think I once went in there when I first joined thinking there was rare songs in it.

 

Hah, yeah, I think anything over like 20 was when I could actually see it have an impact on the whole forum as a whole. I don't think we'll have that issue here but I think it makes it easier for new people to jump in if there is some sort of policy on closing a thread and starting a new one. Like a new one per season is a good idea for sports.

 

One more thing for the subforum moderator post. That thing must be a little novel by now.

That's pretty much what it was. Links to rare/unreleased/retailer-exclusive songs. Pretty sure we only really got away with it because those songs were never on iTunes. Now it seems like all of that stuff is readily available for purchase, so posting links is no good. There were also a few attempts from the big posters in those threads to get a B-sides blog going, but I think those got hit with copyright notices too. I got a lot of good music through those.

 

Staring at me on the to-do list.

 

I looked at my to do list today and went to the gym. The nice things about lists is they never go anywhere.

I think I'm near 50% of what I posted on AP. I never got into it there though. Partly do to its size and then as I got older it hurt my eyes. Mostly a decade of posting on news.

 

Pretty impressed by the site, looks nice and is waaaaaay faster

Hah, you can increase this site when we get old and it should retain it's look and crispness.

 

You know I'm starting to run out of gas/patience in the school year when I say things like "Think of this test like your love life: if you finish fast, you did a bad job and nobody will be satisfied with the result" out loud.
