I hate you for getting to listen to AGO for the first time!! Not fair. I'd also suggest 'Microwave' - "Stovall" if you've never heard of them!

uhh i remember listening to the season for the first time a year ago and just being blown away. i don't come back to it enough for sure.. I have a feeling this new all get out and manchester lp 5 and a new brand new record plus a new KD record will help me get back into this dynamic rock style more..

What are everyones thoughts on movement? we seem to ignore it when talking about this band

 

movement has some of their best songs imo. its stellar.

 

I saw them open for La Dispute... 4 years ago? Wow has it honestly been that long? But I just remember seeing Let Me Go and God, I still get goosebumps every time I think about that song live, and immediately when home to get all of their music. Next time I saw them was opening for Transit and I met Nate and bought a shirt from him (he helped me pick out a design) and he was such a sweetheart who really took the time to talk to me. I can't sing enough praises of this band.

Honestly I love Movement. Each song is great and a little bit different from each other. Orchestra is probably in my top 20 songs ever, so I'm definitely a huge fan of the whole EP.

(Yikes this is a whole rant, I just have a lot of feelings)

 

yea would anyone even be mad if they rerecorded orchestra and it was on the new record? it's such a great song

 

Movement is great. I love the energy on it.

 

I was hoping we would get the single for the new AGO record today.. not looking good

 

I prefer Movement to The Season. I got into the band with Movement, so The Season didn't impact me as much as it could have. It's still a very catchy record though.

 

I heard the season first but I actually prefer movement now. Monster of an EP

That's how I am. I like every song on Movement better than any song on The Season, but I still do like The Season. It's just not what I go to first when I want to listen to this band.

Their Audiotree Session is also pretty great, with 4 of the 5 tracks from Movement (only missing "All My Friends Are Dead") and the title track from The Season.

 

Yeah, that Hussey record is pretty decent. The opening two songs and the closing songs are jaw-dropping - the middle tracks kind of blend it at points, but still, it's his voice - it's amazing, can't beat that.

Love both The Season and Movement. I return to The Season more frequently but there was a one month period last year where I listened to Movement on the drive to school every morning.

 

I really disliked Movement when I Heard it last. Not sure if I've ever even finished the thing. Maybe I should try.

 

The season > Burn Hot > Self titled > movement.

If we're playing this game. The season was and still is the most anticipated record of my life when it came out. Probably in my top 3 favourite records ever. Self titled was what I first heard so it will always be special. Don't get me wrong, I still love Movement too.
