I think CD's are bullshit because I don't like buying things that serve no purpose other than to occupy space and collect dust in my home. I at least listen to my vinyl records, they typically come with digital downloads, I get a big version of the album artwork, and... I dunno, collecting is just fun! If cash is a problem, there are always digital downloads, which are still better than purchasing a CD and waiting for shipment imo.

And why the hate on swirls, swirls are dope

-Not a fan of Paramore but I never really gave them a chance
-I purchase the vinyl album of highly anticipated artists/artists who I want to support more for a collectors purpose rather than practical listening. The DL codes are good enough for me
-Timberlake has some classic singles but overall I don't know if I love any of his full lengths. I think I was bandwagoning a lot of the love for FS/LS going around AP. Listening in recent years, it's pretty bloated IMO. I enjoy Justified more in recent years

I'm a staunch CD collector and for the longest time now I've thought that vinyl and cassettes were both cool, but not really for me. Then recently I've had the opportunity to handle a few vinyl and cassettes and I think I'm weakening. Slowly. But weakening.

 

Hahah. I was at a record store last night with my buddy that's been in that same boat for a while now. Then he saw a vinyl copy of a record that he recently fell in love with and just broke entirely. He wound up leaving the store with like three records and a turntable setup.

 

I will never not buy a used CD for $3-7 if it's a good one. I still have 3 CD cases in my car.

 

What broke me was the 59 Sound brand new for seven dollars. Didn't even have a turntable haha

 

I legitimately hate it passionately when people sing along (like, to the point that you can hear it) to the PA music before a show starts

 

I hate when i'm anywhere with a group of people, usually someones house, and someone breaks out an acoustic guitar. No I don't wanna hear your Something Corporate covers right now. I want to hang out and converse.

 

TR/ST released two of the best albums in the past decade or so. That's not controversial or anything, I just don't think too many people care about them

The only songs I enjoy on the 1975 record are She's American and Paris, everything else is a snooze fest

 

Weird, I think Paris is the biggest snooze on that record by a mile

 

Araabmusik's new album was very disappointing.

 

I wouldn't know, I haven't really read many opinions on it. I figured it'd be liked since Electronic Dream was so well received.
