Sudeikis as Biden again!!! Cold open was super long with some great jokes, some not so great. Pretty cool how Kate switched characters mid-sketch though

I wish the monologue was more standup but he hasn't done it in years to be fair. Still great to see all of those guys though, especially Chappelle

Mister Robinson's Neighborhood did a great job updating it for modern times. Loved seeing him do that again

Holiday Baking Championship was pretty great. Loved Eddie cursing lol

I always like the sketches like the Christmas Toast one

Was not expecting The Masked Singer to be a Buckwheat sketch but he's still great at it lol

Lizzo is actually really good live, as tired of that song as I am

 

I don't think Colin knew he was getting sprayed.

Also that was unfortunately easily the weakest Black Jeopardy

 

That North Pole News sketch was great lol, Eddie was really committed to that performance

 

Episode totally lived up to the hype besides one or two weak sketches. I've always had a soft spot for Eddie Murphy and I'm glad he did so well

 

It’s really amazing that after how long he’s been away, he seemed so comfortable/ natural on the show. Really great episode, and I hope Eddie finds his way back

 

Was a solid show, a few misses but Eddie seemed on, only laughing a few times... Gumby on the news was super,

I would have loved Black Jeopardy with Eddie in his White Like Me make up, fell pretty flat as is

They did a pretty good job bringing back favorite characters tho

 

Surprised Velvet Jones of all characters was one of the ones they brought back but I thought the Black Jeopardy sketch was way funnier than the audience gave it credit for.

This was the best episode of SNL in quite a while.

 

The elf sketch was amazing and just shows how amazing and electric a performer Murphy is

Apparently Cosby's hate for Eddie goes back to the height of his stand-up in the 80s

 

One of Eddie’s most iconic bits was built around that phone call and calling out Cosby way back in the day.

 

Yeah knowing this backstory made that dig so much better when Eddie said it. He did a whole bit about it in Raw. Fuck Cosby and his holier than thou bullshit act.

 

Yeah Eddie has hated Cosby for like 30 years now, that's why I loved that joke so much lol

 

Also Kenan's tweet here is so touching, he seems like such a genuinely great/humble dude
