I can’t get over how easy it woulda been for Palpy to win if he wasn’t literally just written to lose. LOL. All that planning and your plan is so stupid.

It was his memory of him. That’s what Han said at least

it almost felt bond-villain-y as he was like explaining his entire plan to her before he ultimately is bested lol

  4. I'm 99% sure Yoda does force healing in the clone wars episode where he meets with the toydarian ruler so it's definitely happened before. Maybe @Greg can confirm.

I know I'm pages late in that discussion but wanted to being it up.

  6. Why has no one attempted to answer my how creepy is that kiss genetic question yet. Cowards.

  7. Coulda been. Coulda had actual consequence to a character drunk on power and arrogance. Instead it just kinda looked cool for five minutes.

To be fair my mom liked it more than TLJ. My friend liked it way more than TLJ. I heard ppl talking walking out saying they liked it more than TLJ. And the audience score on RT is higher.

People want different things out of art.

I have not seen Rise yet, but so so so much of Jurassic World is so fucking flat and lifeless and like a wet fart that I just can't imagine so.

LOL. Well it IS Star Wars. Luke was trying to get it in with his sister for a long time.

  11. He knew everything when he needed for plot, forgot it when he needed for plot, and that sums up a big issue.

Another thing that annoyed me was the 3PO “taking one last look at my friends” line. In itself it’s a fantastic moment but I hated how he had to be prompted with Poe’s “what are you doing there 3PO?” line when 3PO wasn’t doing anything out of the ordinary. Felt so out of place. Another problem with how rushed it all was.

And again, felt cheap that they just restored his memory so his sacrifice was nothing.

  13. I propose first force cousins half removed as the way to discuss this.

  14. I knew TFA was doing it and accepted it and was like yeah I don’t care. But you can only go to that well so many times before it loses its power and instead I see the cracks.

Shoot, I don’t remember. The only force hearing I’m for sure aware of wasn’t canon until Baby Yoda. In the EU there was a Mon Cal Jedi named Cilghal (sp? It’s been at least 5 years since I’ve read any EU). She was a jerk healer.

Because everything, literally, had to be so heavy-handed and ham-fisted.

I think Baby Yoda was the first person to use Force Healing in cannon, I believe I saw a Star Wars Explained video on it the other day. There's a few in Legends. I've watched that Yoda episode more times than I can count and don't really remember that being part of it.

I think they just want their nostalgia tickled and fan fic fantasies to come to life.

Okay, I did actually really like Luke lifting out his X-wing, especially with the score call back.
