Linkin Park doesn't have a bad album

 

They never should've changed their name.

 

That's my mom's favorite band that's not from 60-80's.

 

I 100% agree. One of the few bands from highschool years still putting out good work today. Their last 3 have been some of their best. Deftones are as well.

I was unaware of this. What did they change their name to?

My mom doesn't really listen to music much, but she loves Linkin Park lol.

 

I have to also admit my mom likes a lot of their songs, but only the softer ones with mostly Chester only. Seeing her reaction to Keys to the Kingdom, Victimized, Lies Greed and Misery would be pretty good.

 

I actually still really enjoy their stuff with electronic effects. Get the stake primed for burning I guess, hah.

No way, I'd never hate on someone liking an awesome band even if I don't dig their newer stuff. I just miss the strings. Besides I said I like Nickelback a page back so who am I to say anything.

Wow, this thread got moving really quick. Missed a ton!

I've tried listening to them since that all went down. I usually wind up turning it off after a few songs. That's the only band/artist I can think of that has been pretty much totally ruined for me due to some sort of controversy. I think it's because I was the most invested in them? A lot of the other artists mentioned earlier in the thread weren't ones I ever cared a lot about in the first place anyway.

 

I prefer AWKIF to the other 3 Paramore albums. However, all four are classics to me and I recognize that the other 3 are better than the debut record. I just personally relate to AWKIF more, love the tone of the record, and it's the one I revisit the most. I'm also a huge fan of the way AWKIF is sequenced.

 

Future is the best Paramore song.

 

Future is one of the worst Paramore songs.

 

First half of Future is probably my favourite thing they've done. At least top three.

 

my favorite paramore songs from each record are Franklin, When It Rains, Turn It Off, and Daydreaming. I love their slower tracks.

That being said, I think All I Wanted is probably Paramore's best song and ties with TIO as my favorite BNE track a lot.

 

Let This Go, When it Rains, Careful?, Last Hope probably.

Careful is the best Paramore song and the s/t is awful. Also Hayley is a really bad writer but I don't know how unpopular that opinion is.

 

New Again is the best Taking Back Sunday record (may have already posted this. Still believe it though)

 

Careful used to be my favorite song of all time but I overplayed it unfortunately. I love it as an opener but I don't visit the album for the sake of wanting to listen to Careful like I used to. If I come back to BNE, it's probably because I want to hear Turn It Off/All I Wanted/Looking Up or because I wanted a sad/angry Paramore and I already played AWKIF in recent memory.
