We did 15 so I basically inverted the list position to get the score (#1=15 pts, #2=14 pts, etc) and then I put it in a spreadsheet and used the functions to tally/sort it all. I'd be willing to tally this one up too if people want to do it. But I think more concrete parameters about what constitutes an emo record are more necessary here.

Yeah this thread is all over, a combined list wouldn’t make sense because there’s so much varied stuff. But y’all should be posting lists all the time cause they’re full of good stuff.

thank you for reminding me about Mush. instantly added it to my list. I listened to it a shit ton the first few months after it came out but have recently forgotten the name (and also there are a couple of Mush's on spotify)

definitely wouldn't consider arrange to be emo but that's definitely in my top 5 of the year in general

Mush is so good. Saw them this past Monday and they killed it.

 

Not an album list (sorry to go a little off-topic, will probably make one soon!) but I'm planning on going to a show tomorrow to see Gia Margaret/Advance Base, and a band from Philly called Friendship is also playing. Anyone here listen to them? Had not heard of them before the show was announced but I am digging them and feel like y'all would know about them/have thoughts about them.
